FCCS has introduced VIP Online Security Cards for internet banking users.
Developed by Australia Post, the VIP Online Security Card is a small card device known as ‘two factor authentication’. It reduces the risk of someone accessing your account, even if they were to access your log-in codes.
How it works
When you use Internet Banking, simply enter your Login Name and Access Code as normal. Then push the grey button on your VIP Online Security Card and enter the code it displays. Simple, safe and smart.
Once your VIP Online Security Card is registered, you need to enter your code every time you log-in to Internet Banking.
How to register for your VIP Online Security Card
You can register for a VIP Online Security Card after you have logged into Internet Banking. Go to the 'Other' menu, select 'Security Options', then follow the simple instructions. Your VIP Online Security Card should be delivered within 10 working days.
